The story behind the coin
The paired source files identify this as a one-jiao coin from Kangde year 5, corresponding to 1938, issued in the Japanese puppet state of Manchukuo. One face carries a central floral emblem, stars, 大滿洲國 and the era date. The other places 壹角 between paired decorative creatures below a flame-like motif. The historical attribution is preserved here; this is not a modern Chinese currency design.
