The story behind the coin
The photographed coin shows Phoenix Hall of Byōdō-in on one side and a wreath around the numeral 10 on the other. The visible reverse date reads 昭和五十六年, Showa 56 (1981). The source description also lists 1951, but that field conflicts with the pictured date; this page identifies the actual pictured coin by its visible date.
