The story behind the coin
The source identifies this photographed pair as Canada’s 1935 George V Silver Jubilee dollar, with the canoe reverse by Emanuel Hahn. The date 1935 appears under the canoe. Unlike our 1965 Canadian dollar with Elizabeth II, this version uses George V in crown and robes, making the portrait side visibly different.
