The story behind the coin
The obverse shows Roosevelt facing left, with LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and the date 2005. A small P identifies the Philadelphia version shown here. On the reverse, a torch separates two branches beneath UNITED STATES OF AMERICA; ONE DIME identifies its ten-cent denomination. These images originate from the United States Mint and are supplied through Wikimedia Commons.

- A left-facing portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the date 2005 and P mint mark.
- Tails
- A torch between an olive branch and an oak branch, with ONE DIME below.
