The story behind the coin

Nevada’s 2006 reverse combines three wild horses with mountains, a rising sun and sagebrush. THE SILVER STATE appears on a banner below the horses. The design carries the statehood date 1864 and the issue year 2006. This is a circulating commemorative 25-cent design. The images are the Mint’s uncirculated examples, paired by issue from its official page; they do not document a single worn coin taken from circulation.

Which side is heads?
